Hernando Branch Facility Features
It is surrounded by 20 acres of wooded property, which includes an 8-lane Junior Olympic-size pool, full fitness center, cardiovascular and free weight room, aerobics room, kids zone and locker rooms. The outdoor facilities include two lighted softball fields, basketball courts and a preschool playground. Programs include youth and adult sports, summer camp and aquatics. ExpansionWe are expanding again, the 2.25million dollar expansion and renovation of the Hernando YMCA is on its way. We will be adding 10,500 sq feet to our facilities, including a larger cycling room, new teen center, activities room, new state of the art wellness center, larger kids zone/babysitting space and social spaces to accommodate member interaction. We will also be undergoing a major renovation of our current space in order for our branch to offer additional programming opportunities, as well as the ability to better serve our current members and participant. We look forward to serving our membership well with these new accommodations. |
